Self Introduction #2 Dun dun dun~
So, I suppose I’ll be the youngest of the three. I’m actually watching my Macroeconomics (is that one word?) lecture right and now and typing this at the same time. Similar to dan, I’m Taiwanese American (I suppose you could call me) with languages abilities in English, Chinese, and Japanese. But I suppose that doesn’t explain why I’m typing on this blog. Honestly, I’m not quite sure either but I hope I’ll be able to find something interesting to entertain you (the imaginary reader) with.
And yes, I’ve watched my fair share of anime and jdrama (even though I refuse to label myself as otaku) so I’ll probably update about the those topics and post reviews or whatnot. I have also translated my fair share of anime/jdrama so I suppose I’ll pretend to make that my excuse… Yah! It was forced upon me… =_=;; As readers, you also have to realize that dan’s tastes in anime (i.e. what sucks and what doesn’t) is very specific so don’t feel too bad if he bashes your favorite anime
(but I think you’ll get a feel for his style over time). I’ll probably be heading the “jdrama department,” if you will, here on this blog even though I’ve been very behind on the scene lately.
So I should probably get back to my lecture now. You know, honestly, I don’t feel like the blog idea will take off, but we’ll see
A little plug: www.kaizoufansubs.net - These guys sub Detective Conan episodes with Kaze no Koe Fansubs and are formally know as the Detective Conan Translation Project (DCTP). I’ve translated for them on occasion and they’re not a bad bunch of people. Their subs may not be 100% perfect, but they’re better than they used to be (and it was pretty bad ><). Moreover, they are the only group that actively subs Detective Conan, so you don’t really have a choice
Enjoy.
Oh yeah, I like the anime Detective Conan (aka the one anime that even people that don’t like anime like) if you couldn’t tell ![]()
